Looking After Your Pup – Tips & Info
You will receive your pup when it is 8 weeks old. At this stage of their life they have been weened off their mother’s milk and are eating full solid meals 3 times a day.
These meals consist of a scoop of dry food with chicken necks or mince or chicken wings. We also recommend a raw egg mixed in their meal 3 times a week.
Bathing your pup is a great way to bond so we recommend doing this every 3 to 4 weeks.
Refrain from taking your pup outside of the home environment until they are fully vaccinated – this will ensure your pup does not become exposed to any disease or illness that may affect their health and wellbeing.
At 16 weeks your pup should have received all its required vaccines, at this point we recommend exposing your pup to a variety of places, people and noise. Interactions with children, other dogs and loud environments assists in creating soundness.
