Zammia

Before getting your new puppy, there are many things you need to keep in mind. From the costs involved, to the time you need to dedicate to a puppy, followed by the list of items you need to purchase and even the type of food you wish to feed them. But one of the most important considerations should be: where to get your puppy from.

As reputable breeders with almost 20 years of experience specialising in the rottweiler breed, we can guarantee that your Zammia Pup will exceed your expectations when it comes to quality.

Why Choose Us

Here at Zammia we are members of the ANKC (Australian National Kennel Club) part of Dogs NSW. We follow the Animal Welfare code of practice, code of ethics and the national breeding standards.

Breeding standards are the official guidelines that describe the ideal characteristics, temperament, and appearance of a breed and ensures that the breed is fit for function with soundness essential.

All our pups come with ANKC Pedigree papers registered with Dogs Australia. Information packs filled with all you need to know about your new pup are provided upon purchase. We also ensure you have a head start with feeding tips and will supply you with a bag of puppy food.

Our pups come to you vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and vet checked, you will be issued a vaccination card and information relating to any upcoming vaccine and worming requirements. We allow a 3 day cooling off period where if you decide the pup is not right for you or your family you will receive a 50% refund of the purchase price if the pup is returned to us.

Your pup is our first priority, so we offer 24 hour support 7 days a week.

Looking After Your Pup – Tips & Info

You will receive your pup when it is 8 weeks old. At this stage of their life they have been weened off their mother’s milk and are eating full solid meals 3 times a day.

These meals consist of a scoop of dry food with chicken necks or mince or chicken wings. We also recommend a raw egg mixed in their meal 3 times a week.

Bathing your pup is a great way to bond so we recommend doing this every 3 to 4 weeks.

Refrain from taking your pup outside of the home environment until they are fully vaccinated – this will ensure your pup does not become exposed to any disease or illness that may affect their health and wellbeing.

At 16 weeks your pup should have received all its required vaccines, at this point we recommend exposing your pup to a variety of places, people and noise. Interactions with children, other dogs and loud environments assists in creating soundness.
